Cornerstone Educational Leadership exists to make great leadership development accessible to everyone who leads in schools — grounded in research, built for real contexts, and free from the barriers that have defined the field for too long.
We believe leadership isn't developed in isolation. The people closest to learning — teachers, students, leaders at every level — deserve a seat at the table.
That belief shaped everything we've built.
Our first product is Cornerstone: a cooperative leadership simulation game that brings school communities together to build, grow, and sustain a school, winning or losing as one.
Research-grounded, modular, and designed for the schools and educators that existing provision has left behind.
Currently at concept-to-prototype stage, working with a small number of pilot partners ahead of launch.
High-quality leadership development should reach every school and every educator — not just those with the right budget, the right postcode, or the right title.
The evidence on what makes great school leadership work is robust. The bridge between that evidence and everyday professional practice is not. Cornerstone builds that bridge by providing insight that turns theory into decisions leaders can stand behind.
Learning to lead is not a solo activity. Cornerstone generates structured, honest professional conversation — the kind that changes how people think and how organisations work.
Teachers, governors, senior leaders, university students. No player wins alone — because schools don't work that way either.
Play is not the opposite of rigour — it unlocks honest and generative conversation that formal formats suppress. Scale is not a reason to dilute quality, and a changing profession deserves development that keeps up.
Cornerstone is built by an educational leadership researcher and a commercial scaling expert — the combination of domain authority and GTM experience this product needs.
